This book gives you someplace to start on your journey to financial stability. It has helpful topics that address the tendency to overspend to maintain a lifestyle you can't really afford. The key is paying cash for extras and keeping the reduction of your debt in mind when you make purchases.
I felt this was a good book and there were lots of examples of people who used to have terrible financial problems, and who are now financially responsible and stable. That was very encouraging to me!
Great review. I have the horrible habit of living outside of my means, even without credit (the whole robbing Peter to pay Paul syndrome). I am hoping to change this as a resolution this year. Sounds like this book may help me along. Thanks!
Thanks for the review. It is time for me to get more serious about my future financially and the best place to start is with spending discipline. A lot of times I live outside of my means and it only leads to unneeded stress at the end of month. I've heard a lot of good things about Dave Ramsey and need to finally check one of his books out.
