Right now, I think everyone can use some financial help. I definitely need it (and still do), with quite a bit of debt built up in the form of credit cards and student loans. It all gets to be very overwhelming, especially for someone like me who doesn't know a balanced budget from a hole in the ground.
This book is an extremely useful and practical guide to knowledge and management of financial responsibilities, and it's all laid out in a very easy to read manner. I'm a hands on person myself, so the worksheets were a stroke of brilliance, and really helped me wrap my head around some of those concepts I had been having trouble with.
I also very much enjoyed the tone of the book, which had a fitness theme. That really helped to lighten the mood and add some humor to an often humorless subject. The bottom line is that this book is fantastic, and would even make a good gift (even if only to yourself).
I really enjoyed reading Davids book The Total Money Makeover he gave really good advise and describe in very easy terms that everybody can understand on how to get out of debt and the proper way to do it.
