This book was fascinating for me because it combined the knowledge I've learned from Introduction to Psychology class, and my Biology 112 class as well. The cool thing about this book is that it helps to explain many of the concepts that we seem to "skim over" in class. It helps to further explain them and describe why they are important and what their function is in the human body or mind. I like how the book helps to draw connections between the mind and body, and how those connections affect our daily lives. It's very interesting to learn why we act the way we do, and what makes us do those things, biologically and psychologically. Although the book does contain some unfamiliar words to someone who has not studied very much psychology and biology, it is worded in such a way that anyone can pick it up and understand. The simplicity of the book makes it fun and interesting at the same time.
Thanks for the great review. I love books that not only go into the reasons of why, but also into the scientific reasons for it. This is one book I'm going to be keeping an eye out for.
