I was given this book when I was pregnant with my first daughter. It is an excellent resource for first time moms (and dads), as well as for those going though a 2nd or even 3rd or 4th pregnancy.

There are many questions you have when you are pregnant that just can't wait until your next ob/gyn visit. You also can't call your doctor with every minor concern you may have.

This book takes you through each month of each trimester. It fully answers every concern I could've possibly had. It was great for any question I had about my pregnancy.

Not only did it explain the changes my body would go through, but it explained the changes my baby was going through as well. It also has a section for labor and delivery and what to expect the first month.

What a great resource for pregnant women. I read this with my first pregnancy, as well as my second. I recommend it to anyone expecting a child. It is very well-written and organized.

I actually was given this book after the birth of my third child, following a 12 year break from childbearing, and I must say, having a second marriage and being pregnant in a different state of mind, I definitely enjoyed the usefulness of this book. It is a definite read for any first time mother, or as in my example, a returning mother that has forgotten the fine details of being pregnant.

I agree this book is very helpful whether you've had kids before or not. It really does a good job of preparing you for every month, and answers a lot of questions, so your doctor won't have to. Very good book, and very helpful review.
