I got this book because it was recommended to me by every successful internet marketer that I know. When it comes to being a "knowledge worker", like an internet marketer, artist, designer, or something similar, having the proper mindset is essential for financial success.
That's what this book can help teach.
Granted, it is old and very dry. Even some of the wording is blatantly racist. Such things were "acceptable" in literature at the time.
However, the insights and the spirit of the messages within the book are extremely valuable. It isn't often that you can actually get in the heads of self-made millionaires and see what actions they took to get to that level of success.
My favorite part is the story of the man who invented the radio. His family and friends had him committed to an asylum, thinking he was schizophrenic. He was talking about sending sound from a box in one location to a box in a different location.... almost by magic!
He must have been insane!
But if not for his work, our technology would have been ages behind where it is now.
Truly an inspiration.
By the way, this book is downloadable for free in many places online if you are okay with a digital pdf.
