Human beings are herbivore mammals and our natural food should be raw vegetables and fruits like other herbivores. Most of us are aware of this fact but can't live without cooked spicy and oily food and I was one of them until I encountered with some health problem . As I was fond of fried food, there was an increase in my cholesterol level. Also I was a victim of hypertension. As per the advice of my physician friend I changed my food habit.Subsequently he gave me the book "The Raw Food Detox Diet" written by Natalia Rose to read and practice. Since then for the last one year I am holistically following the tips and advice given in the book and became a ardent raw food eater. To my surprise there is a drastic reduction in my bad cholesterol level and my blood pressure is also normal. My case may be a testimony to the writer's concept about raw food which says it is a powerful detoxifying agent that can cleanse your body and improves our immune system. According to me this is a great book written by an expert nutritionist for the benefit of man kind who have forgotten their nature of food.Looking at the increasing cost of medical treatments, it is better to avoid hospitals and the best way to do this is to follow The Raw Food Detox Diet. So I recommend one and all to buy this book.
Since this reviewer has a personal stake in the results promoted byt this book, his review was helpful. He can vouch for the validity of the eating plan, in his case, at least. It does make you want to at least read more about the detox system.
This sounds like another book I need to read on raw foods. This subject fascinates me. I wholeheartedly believe that poor diet is the number one cause of most illness. Thanks for a good review.
I just got diagnosed with high cholesterol about six months ago. I've been looking to motivate myself and get on a better diet. Maybe I should consider this. Just curious, was it difficult keeping to this diet, and was there enough variety of recipes to choose from? I just keep thinking that I'd be eating salad everyday for the rest of my life. Thanks for the review!
