When my daughter was born, I had a lot of questions. What to Expect the First Year had a lot of answers! Best of all, the information provided in the book is easy to read and understand. Practical tips and news and advice about the different stages of a child’s first year of life are related in easily formatted chapters and highlighted sidebars packed with simple to digest information. That means a lot to busy, often too-stressed-to-concentrate, new moms and dads! Throughout my daughter’s, and then my son’s, first year I turned to this book for everything: I always found what I needed to know. From feeding, burping, gurgling and spit up, from first foods to first words, from the safest toys to the best way to travel with a baby in tow, to how to get better sleep with a new baby in the house, and SO much more, this a book that became my bible. I give it my very highest recommendation!

I totally agree I used it alot with my first child. I know I looked at it everyday for the first six months at least. It was so helpful. I think anyone who has children should have this book and take it with you to the hospital. You will need it.

Great review. I think that it would be helpful if you could somehow divide your review up - like into multiple paragraphs. Sounds like a great book. Thanks!
