Going green sure sounds easy doesn't it? It is, but it's overwhelming. This book has a wonderful amount of things you can do to start out, that are easy. And some that are common sense, but you don't think to do. Buy the extend life light bulbs! I wasn't going to buy them at first, thinking they were severely overpriced. I bought them 6 months ago, and they're still running, which is scary since (bad me!) I forget to turn lights off a lot. Simple things like don't leave the lights on (I'm trying!) when you leave, turn the heat down, stuff we all can do. I know it's tempting to leave the heat at 90 when you don't pay for it, and run around in shorts pretending it's spring break- but it's still bad for the planet!
