My sister lent me this book a few years ago. "Do you have a big dream?" she asked me. Well, I'd never thought about it before, and I started to get annoyed as I began reading a book about dreams without a dream in mind. A big dream. That one big dream. The annoyance was set aside when this book gave me an epiphany about what I wanted to do with my life. It opened my mind, and showed me it was alright to have dreams, and how to follow them. It is because of this book that I am following the career path I am in now. This book showed me how to solidify my dreams and turn them into a reality. And now, three years after my sister handed me this book, I am about to make my first movie. It's been a long, difficult road over these past three years, and it ain't over yet, but without this book, I would not have realized my calling. It forced me to look inside myself and ask myself what I really wanted in life.
I recommend this book to anyone. There is also a DVD of The Dream Giver, a ten-hour seminar, which is also excellent.
