I absoulutely love this book. I am an eater. I love to eat, and love to cook; I am also very concerned about what I put into my body, and worry a lot about my diet. This book allows you to make it okay to eat real food. She encourages us to eat food the way people ate decades ago. She encourages the whole egg, not just the egg white. She suggests whike milk over skim. Fresh, instead of pasteurized or homogenized. Farmer's markets are a heaven on earth. Butter is better than margarine. I devoured this book, and you know what? I agree completely. Not only do REAL foods taste better, their health benefits outweigh the risks if eaten properly and moderately, with regular exercise. There is no reason to deprive yourself of real food. I applaud this book whole-heartedly.

Wow! This sounds awesome. I would totally love to learn what the best things to put in my body are. It's interesting that she says whole milk over skim. I really do want to take a look at this book now.

I will have to buy this book! It sounds like just the sort of plan I have been following for the last 12 years on my own. I have just had it with all the fad diets and schemes that are based in a total lack of self acceptance and self care. I definitely admire this point of view!
