I consider myself to be a pretty health conscious person but I was never very clear on what exactly I should be eating or feeding my family. I didn't know exactly what "whole foods" meant, but this book helped to clear that up for me. Nina Planck tells us how we can get back to eating the basic foods that are healthy and whole. She suggests things like natural, real butter without all of the chemicals or additives found in margarine. In addition, natural cheese and grass fed beef are some of Planck's suggestions. She has a theory that all of the chemicals and altered, processed foods are responsible for obesity and many other health epidemics plaguing us today. I tend to agree with her and feel eating natural, organic, whole foods is the way to go. I feel better feeding my family these types of food and am really glad I found this book.
Yes, i agree that we should get to the basics. And stop eating items with chemicals in them. This book should help you lead a healthy life.
This books sounds like a great source of information if you're looking to get into a healthy lifestyle. I know I myself eat way too much garbage these days. Your review makes me want to check this book out. Thanks.
