When my wife was having really bad PMS and mood swings, her doctor suggested that she add a B-complex to her vitamin routine. The doctor told her that being low in the B vitamins can cause mood swings and heighten the feelings of depression. That was in the 1990s. We have been taking a B-complex daily ever since. After about a week of taking the added vitamin, we both noticed a significant change in our moods and in the amount of swinging the moods did or did not do. Both of us are more even in our moods now and we are less apt to have highs and lows as often. If we run out, we both notice we are more easily angered or upset until we get back into our routine of taking the Bs. I would recommend this complex to anyone, but especially to any women who suffer from PMS. My wife pretty much doesn't have the mood swings she used to suffer from and it has also helped me with my moodiness as a man.
