A friend of mine who is also a vegetarian told me about this site. I immediately loved the name (I love cows!) and had to check it out. I am always looking for new places to shop for whole foods and new restaurants to eat at that cater to or at least acknowledge the existence of vegetarian customers. This site lets you search by where you live to find the stores and restaurants, so its really easy to use. And its not just a guide either. They also have blogs, groups, and forums you can participate in. This is cool, as you can look for people who share your interests or even reviews of places you are wanting to check out. They also have links for shopping and recipes (I have tried the recipe for Mushroom Gravy and its divine!). I would recommend this site for any vegetarian/vegan person. I would also recommend this site for any meat-eater who is at a loss for how to feed/entertain a vegetarian/vegan friend or relative. Lots of information here and really easy to navigate.
