A friend of mine had recommended this book to me and I went and found it at the local library to read. I am glad I checked it out as it offers so much practical advice that is time tested and still applies today. The book doesn’t offer any new groundbreaking advice that no one has every heard of, but it does offer great advice. After reading the book you’re left with a "duh" moment. I mainly got it to learn to stop worrying; I had been a worrier all my life and it needed to change. This book tells you what causes it and reminds you to focus on the positives in your life. I do believe that worrying is a part of life, but you have to put it into priorities. I still worry occasionally, but I don’t let it overwhelm me or rule my life. If there is something I can change I do it and I tell myself that somehow it will all work out. It will be easy to get wrapped up in the examples laid out in the book and you will probably find yourself reading it over and over.
I am a compulsive worrier and one of the things that I worry about is money. So thanks for reminding me that I can look for this book at the library instead of buying it. It's now on the top of my library list - thanks again.
