My mom, the church secretary, gave me this book to read and told me that perhaps it would help me to find the answers I had been seeking in my life. The book exudes passion for Christ and is a great resource if you want to know how to take Biblical ideas and Christian values and use those as a means of living out your life. If you want someone who has thought out how to put Christian values into action, this is your book. That's specific to anyone who values Christian values and not just Christians; if you're able to get behind the idea of loving God and loving others as yourself, this book will help you in finding answers to how to incorporate that as a purpose.
But, if you're searching for something greater or something different or you feel like that's just a small point of view in the greater scheme of life, I think you'll find this book to be frustrating. I'm the type who gets frustrated by any religion trying to make my life make sense just from their religious point of view, and this book didn't hold much value for me as a result. I know my mom, however, would highly recommend this book.
