This book was wonderful for me. I read a book called "Skinny Bitch" which basically made me feel like I'd rather become vegan or die. As a result the struggle to conform to the guidelines of being a vegan dictated my life. The restrictions are very intense and there are many but very worth it. Becoming a vegan can be very intimidating, becoming a vegetarian is hard enough let alone renouncing milk products and buttery goodness as well. This book provides information on what becoming a vegan means, what vegans eat and believe and ways to prepare easy, practical vegan meals, including many recipes and tips for a vegan novice like me. This book also provides products that are vegan friendly and sometimes also suggests places where consumers can find these products. I am now a well-educated vegan and I owe most of my initial information and daily meals to this book filled with support and education for the aspiring vegan.
Impressive! How much weight have you lost now that you're a vegan? And did you go through some emotional stuff while you were transitioning from evil meat-eater to saintly vegan?
