This book is a must for anyone who is afflicted with MS. I read it shortly after I was diagnosed and have closely monitored my intake of fat ever since then.

This book is unique because Dr. Swank provides empirical data of MS patients who followed this diet. He gives background as to how he came up with his diet theory and explains why he was confident that it would work. He also provides a chart of supplements to take and menus for daily living. The last part of the book is filled with healthy recipes that can make your transition to the diet more easy and feasible to follow for the rest of your life.

This book really opened my eyes to the relationship of fats to disease and has helped me differentiate between bad fats and good fats. I believe that this has been key in helping me control my MS and even if you are fortunate enough to be in good health, this book can help you maintain that health. It's important for everyone to know how to choose the healthiest food for their body and this book is definitely a great teaching tool to help you learn how to do that.

Appreciate the review. Very thorough. Looks like an interesting book - the diet plan and supplements look like they could work.

I must admit, I never thought about this subject, but my brother's fiance has MS and after reading your review, I think I'm going to buy the book for them. Food affects so much of what goes on in our bodies, why wouldn't it also affect diseases. Thanks for the review.

My good friend was recently diagnosed with MS, and I wanted to get this book for her but wasn't sure if it was really helpful or now. I really appreciate this review. It definitely sealed my decision to buy it.

WOW. I am so glad I came across your review. My aunt has MS and it has been breaking our hearts not being able to do anything. Now I feel like I can actually help her, because none of us knew about this link between dietary fat and MS. I am especially glad that you said there are menus in the book, because that will really help us get her started on the right track. Thanks so much. I'm going to order it right now.
