Susan Miller, astrologer, best-selling author, syndicated columnist, web publisher, and businesswoman, launched her award-winning website, Astrology Zone® in 1995. Susan Miller has received worldwide acclaim for her accurate, comprehensive monthly forecasts on Astrology Zone®. Her site generates a following of six million unique readers per month and 17 million page views. Each sign’s forecast comprises approximately 8 pages, but counts as one long page view, as Susan does not ask her readers to click for each page of the report.
Susan has penetrated every major communication vehicle - print, broadcast, and digital media. With monthly features in InStyle magazine (Time Warner) and CosmoGirl! (Hearst), as well as Eve magazine (UK), Vogue Japan, and W (Korea), her columns are read by millions of readers worldwide. Her work is translated into Turkish, Japanese, and Spanish as well. Until recently, Susan was the daily horoscope columnist for the New York Daily News.
Her daily forecasts are available as Astrology Zone Mobile® as SMS text on cell phones by subscription on Cingular, Verizon, Sprint, Nextel, and AT&T and also available via email by subscription to Daily Astrology Zone™. Readers can also receive audio daily and monthly forecasts as subscription downloads for iPods.
While I'm not really hard core into astrology, I do find it fun to read my horoscope and those of my close friends and family and this is where i got to read the monthly forecasts. This site has very detailed monthly horoscopes and lots of basic information that would be helpful to a newcomer to astrology. I recommend this site for anyone who, like me, has only a passing interest on the subject. Im sure there are much more details sites out there. Oh, and make sure your pop-up blocker is turned on!
Hey I found an ad for people jam! And... not much else. Most of the web page seems to be advertisements, not surprisingly, for Susan Millers books. The pop up advertisements are a bit ridiculous- some of them even go right through my pop up blocker (which means there's more than 1!). There doesn't seem to be much info on the web site. What I can find is something I can find on other, much less advertisement heavy, and much faster loading web pages. I'm very disappointed, sadly.
My first impression of the site is that it looks trite, not to mention dated. The ads are outrageous. I thought at any moment I'd get attacked by pop-up ads!
Well, when I look a little closer, there's hardly any real content on the main page. It doesn't inspire confidence. There are, however, links to a few other parts of the site, which I explored for a while. This is where I did start getting a few pop-ups. Not good at all.
I venture over to the message board (annihilating pop-ups along the way), which doesn't seem to have been active since 2004. Next, I see there's a place to sign up for a newsletter, but what are the odds that's even active anymore?
Alright, it's definitely time to leave. Between the aggressive ads and lack of any real content, I can't find one redeeming quality. Do not visit this site if you don't have a good pop-up blocker. Better yet, stay away altogether.
As a big fan of Susan Miller, I just love visiting Astrologyzone to keep myself updated on my astrology forecast with the monthly horoscopes, which are very in depth and accurate. Through the cosmic tools and matchmaker utility I have gathered useful tips and advice that has helped me with my own personal development.
Astrology used to be fairly limited to palm-reader's shops and specialty books, available only to the faithful and dedicated (or just those willing to pay 1.99 /min to someone else who was hopefully faithful and dedicated.) However, the rise of the internet has made information on astrology accessible to everyone- anyone can now be an amateur astrologer, if they so choose.
There are so many sites dedicated to the craft now that they, in all honesty, begin to blend together. Most offer a standard quick-horoscope, as well as 'Find your Love Match' quizzes and the like. In that sense, Astrology Zone fits in quite nicely with other similar pages. There are the compatibility plug ins and community forums and all the basics people have come to expect- if anything, it's a little bare bones. What does seem to set AZ apart though, is the comprehensive forecasts it gives for each sign each month. While many sites charge a fee for anything beyond a basic paragraph, AZ offers detailed readings each month free of charge. A nice perk.
As the other reviewer commented, the ads are a bit off-putting, but perhaps they're worth it for keeping the cost to visitors of the site down. Not a bad place to start your searches.
Susan Miller's Astrology Zone is a site with a nice blend of free content as well as paid content.
What I like about this site is Miller has original astrology content, rather than what is on every other astrology site. The "fitness by sign" section was particularly helpful for me.
So much advertising is a bit off putting, to be honest, but it's done in a way here that makes it as pleasant as possible.
