I highly recommend this book to anyone considering a vegan (or even vegetarian) diet. Unlike many similar works, this book doesn't depend on scare tactics or rampant evangelism to convince you to give up eating animal products. Instead, it focusses on the practicalities- it explains the nutrients your body will need, and how to get them.
Everything's covered- from B12 to calcium to fatty acids to good protein sources. In addition, the authors take into consideration that 'all vegans are not created equal', giving space to people at all stages of life, from infancy to seniority, and to those living a very active, athletic lifestyle.
A fantastic resource- anyone considering changing their diet should give it a read.
