If you have good motivation to not eat junk, you probably wouldn't find yourself needing a service like ediets. A few years ago, I tried this plan and it worked well for me. I lost 20 pounds, but then i soon gained it back. Recently I tried it again, now that I need to lose 40 pounds, and I only was able to lose 5 pounds. I had trouble following the meal plans because I still felt hungry, and I got bored with the choices. I found a website that is free and is much more interesting that does the same. I would recommend www.sparkpeople.com instead of ediets. It works better, is more interactive, and best of all it is FREE!

I was really excited to see this website, I thought the description sounded really great. So I excitedly browsed out to the website (which doesn't mention explicitly that you have to "join" anywhere noticeable on the front page) and started filling out their survey. I was a little suspicious at the advertisements around the page, which generally means that it's going to cost you something, but I figured they would charge you for the food delivery option they had. Then, bam! I reached the "end" of the survey. Where it stops and doesn't even give you good advice, other than price options. At least most diet sites give you hints and tips if you don't choose to join up and pay. Nothing like that here. You either join (at the hefty fee of around $5 a week, not including meal delivery and things) or nothing. Maybe someone else can give it a more favorable view, but I'd prefer to stick with my nice, free diet and meal plan sites.
