At first, I was reluctant to purchase Suze Orman's book "Women and Money." Like most intelligent and educated women, financial matters bored me to tears. I would rather leave it to someone else than "worry my pretty head over it." Now, this is a wrong attitude for women to take, and I am glad I purchased this wonderful financial-advice book because it completely changed my ideas about money.
Now, some of the facts and information in this book might work only in America; however, the basic message of the book has a universal appeal. Ladies, this won't do! You must have an account of your own. You must take full control of your finances, and Suzy's book tells you how to do it. Don't ever let your financial advisor bully you into doing what you don't fully understand. Ever had difficulties about choosing between whole life and term insurance? Read Suzy's book! It clears all the financial cobwebs from any woman's head.
Nice! As you said, even if you find the subject boring, NOT understanding and controlling your own finances can lead to lots of time to be bored - while you're broke!
