This is a great book, and a wonderful resource. When you think green, a lot of people elicit the image of girls burning bras, never shaving, or smoking dope. The quintessential hippie, right? Not true anymore. Going green has become a global phenomenon, with lots of people pitching in! This book is a great resource on how to find the most eco-friendly job in your industry, or how to tailor yours to be more eco-friendly.

Hi friends, it is a natural tendency of human being to select jobs from which he can earn more. I think no employee in any field of job may not be satisfied with his employer regarding salary. He he will always compare his salary income with his counter pats in similar job or different jobs.I feel the the main reason for this attitude is lack of job satisfaction and remedy for this is to select a job which may give mental satisfaction as well as financial stability. If you are searching jobs which are meeting these two criteria, then a Green job should be your first choice. And here is a book "Green jobs : a guide to Eco friendly employment" written by : Bronwyn Llewellyn. I think there may not be a better book written on this subject in recent times. When the opportunities for jobs in this field are pouring out, this book may be very handy for green job seekers. The author writes about green business and number of website links are provided as a reference. It is a total guide to earn through eco-friendly means.I feel it is a best buy considering the need to protect our Globe from greedy development activities.

I was reading this book initially thinking, oh I work on the internet, I have this in the bag. WRONG! Did you know Google ALONE is responsible for 4% of all of the US of A's electricity? This great book lets you explore different avenues of "working green" and I think its a great to inspire, and for the people who already have jobs, I think its great they do some analysis to jobs that you might already think are "in the bag" green. One caveat, don't expect to make major money having "recycled garage sales". Some of the options in the book seemed more like page fillers than actual options as jobs. I still think, go where your heart takes you, and make it as environmentally friendly as possible.

To listen to the current presidential candidates, it would seem that green jobs are indeed the wave of the future. The authors of 'Green Jobs' certainly seem to agree, mixing the print based world- with plenty of well thought out information on everything from finding green jobs in the industry to which you already belong to starting your own 'green' business- with abundant website links and guides to other resources and materials.

While I'm not sure it's enough to help anyone make an immediate leap into 'green' industries, it's certainly a good start and will give you plenty of background information.
