“If You Could See What I See” is Gnosticism explained by a very unusual person—Sylvia Browne, who was born into a family of psychics. This book caught my attention for two reasons. First, it speaks on Gnostic philosophy, a branch of Christianity that had been suppressed by the Church for ages, and I wanted to know more about it. Second, it is the story of a psychic, in other words, a sort of autobiography of Sylvia Browne. I have always been interested in psychics, precisely because they can see what I cannot. And in this book, Sylvia speaks of interesting things such as dark entities, life after death, our purpose on earth, and so on.
While I can’t agree with everything that the book says, I also can’t deny that the book is extremely interesting. I can guarantee that anybody interested in the paranormal, in reaching the Godhead, and in Gnosticism will love this book, simply because it is a delightful blend of the two. At the same time, it reveals a lot of delightful facts about the personal life of Sylvia Browne, founder of the Society of Novus Spiritus.
