After I lost my grandparents, with whom I was very close to, I had some real issues to work though. This book by Melody Beattie is just another of her masterpieces. If you are grieving over the loss of a dog, a parent, a friend, or really even a friendship that or job that you're trying to "let go" of, you'll find solace in this book. The techniques (if you're open and willing to do them and look at yourself honestly) will help you through just about any transition in life. This for me was the turning point in getting better or getting bitter. If you need this book I may even buy it for you! Buying this for someone at a funeral could really help the person see themselves differently and heal faster. Its. That. Good.
Great review! I am currently dealing with the loss of my grandparents, a pet, and possibly a job, so your review really spoke to me. I will definitely see if the library has this book.
