Experience
As a world traveler who speaks French, Spanish, Italian, and Dutch, I have to admit that it still tickles me whenever I see that the media refers to me as the “Renaissance woman with soul!”
I’m an Author, Radio/TV Personality, Speaker, Coach, Spokeswoman, Designer, Gardener, and NY Times best selling author of Chicken Soup for the Gardener’s Soul, Be the Star You Are!®, 99 Gifts for Living, Loving, Laughing, and Learning to Make a Difference, The Business of Show Business, and Miracle Moments®.
I wasn’t born into all of this “international acclaim”. Truth be told, I was born on a farm in the Napa Valley in Northern California and as the eldest of five children, it was up to me to earn enough money to pay for a college education. I drove tractor, picked fruit, raised sheep and chickens, becoming a state champion rooster raiser in the process.
After being honored as the Outstanding Teenager of California, I was named teenage ambassador to Holland and served as a foreign correspondent for several newspapers. I attended UCLA, the Universite de Bordeaux in France, and graduated with honors from CAL, Berkeley-all financed by my chicken project.. My travel expeditions gave birth to my dynamic writing, speaking, and coaching career. Interviewing is a talent that I enjoy. Tune into my upbeat positive nationally syndicated radio program live and archived every Thursday from 3-4pm PST/6-7pm EST on the world’s largest radio network, World Talk Radio/Modavox/Voice America.. (http://www.ideocast.com/show.asp?sid=118).
Not only am I a producer and host for radio and TV shows, I have also gained publicity as a keynote speaker, a personal growth consultant, a syndicated columnist, and an acting coach. (www.star-style.com)
With nearly three decades of experience working in the entertainment field as an actor, producer, writer, coach, designer, and casting director, I’ve had the honor of performing with some of the biggest names in the industry. As a Certified Interior Designer and professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers, my interior design and garden projects have been featured in TV, commercials, books, and numerous publications.
I’ve had great experiences speaking on luxury cruise lines and elegant spas around the world, inspiring others to be the stars they were born to be by creating a life they design. Because of my devotion to increasing literacy and positive messages in the world, I founded and am CEO of the 501(c)(3) charity, “Be the Star You Are”! (www.bethestaryouare.org), empowering women, families and youth at risk. My motto is "To be a leader, you must be a reader!"
Since it’s founding in 1999, “Be the Star You Are!” has served approximately 153,000 individuals and families within 47 organizations and has logged more than 108,900 volunteer hours, while distributing over $1.5 million in resources. I always say, “We’re small yet MIGHTY!”
My life purpose is dedicated to helping others achieve their dreams by implementing their unique gifts. I’ve coached many aspiring thespians, writers, and professionals to fame and fortune through my personal success consultations in acting, media, writing, presentations, and life challenges. Companies engage my services as a media spokesperson because I practice the PEEP Principle™, a phrase I coined as a child when I began my career as a chicken farmer. To be successful and happy we must have these four qualities-passion, energy, enthusiasm, and perseverance.
At ClubMom.com, I’m the home, garden, and lifestyle expert , a personal growth instructor at eMindful, and a writer for numerous publications. My talented daughters, Heather Brittany, and I are known as the “Stella Donne Goddess Gals. We work together in films, TV, radio, writing assignments and speaking engagements. (www.goddessgals.com)
When I’m not working, you’ll find me playing with my family and my large menagerie of animals including dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, geese, rabbits, goats, birds, and pot belly pig on my mini-farm where I live. Actually, I’ve never worked a day in my life because I love who I am and what I do. Work and Play are one and the same.
The next time you seek a seasoned professional for a project who is an exuberant wife, mom, and business expert with charisma and personality that gets fast results, I’m the lady to call! Let’s play together.

“You are the woman! This meeting with you was beyond my wildest dreams. My head is spinning with all the information that you imparted to me and with all the possibilities that you envisioned opening for me. Thank you, thank you, thank you. All I have to do now is...WORK! To say I'm daunted by all this is a massive understatement, but with your guidance I feel for the first time that there is hope for my endeavors. I can't wait to meet with you again and continue the dialogue.
