Okay, I know that summer is long gone, but I just found a list of things I wanted to do this summer: go to Hollywood Bowl [check], start belly dancing class [check], drive to Artesia for delicious Indian food [double check], have a Rocky marathon (and yous better not judge me for that neither!) halfway checked], and I realized that there was a conspicuously absent check next to 'have beach cookout'.

So it's on. Very soon we're going to drive down to Huntington Beach with some wood, some blankets and marshmallows, and do the d*mn thing. So what if we have to wear jackets & boots? Winter fashion is fun too.
