Picking up where The Secret left off, this book shows readers how to harness the power of positive thinking to get more of what they want and less of what they don't out of life. They'll learn how the LAW OF ATTRACTION is responsible for attracting people, jobs, situations, and relationships—both good and bad.
And by following its three-step formula, tips, tools, and exercises, readers will be able to make the LAW OF ATTRACTION part of their daily life—improving relationships, increasing wealth, and discovering their true desires.
After reading this book you would realize that this book offers you a wonderful insight into what can be achieved. This book reminds you of a more mild version of The Secret. This book fares well with me over The Secret because this book doesn't play the suspense game with you and then finally gives you the answer at the end of the book. There are not gimmicks or questions with this book; you are easily guided through the ideas of what energy you give you get back. You are given the tools to realize that you can achieve anything that you want to do as long as your passion and focus is set to this goal.
I feel that this book is beneficial to all that want to change thier lives and change the course of events that life puts in front of them. If you believe you're going to be in a better place then you will be.
After reading and watching The Secret, I wanted to learn more. I was told this was an easier read than Ester and Jerry Hicks version of Law of Attraction. I bought it, and thought it was an easy read, but it basically just rehashed everything in the secret, about being grateful, focusing on what you wanted, etc. What I did like about it, was that there were many exercises on making many lists. You made lists on what you did not want in your life, and in a contrasting column what you did want. You did this with everything, such money, love, weight lost etc. I found that interesting. It also had you start out slow with your manifestations by writing down anything you manifested every single day, even if it was a free cup of coffee. I thought that was a great idea so you could actually see how many wonderful things you were actually receiving each day. Michael's theory was once someone could visually see that they were manifesting items, they could try manifesting more in the future. It is a good book for someone who needs to write down their goals.
I am happy and I am sad. I am happy that I got this 'so-called' sequel to The Secret for just $6 and free shipping. I am sad that I paid 6 bucks to read this! It is nowhere near Secret. The only comparison is the 'Law of Attraction' which everyone seems to be cashing on. The Secret had a lot going for it. It was a first, a great film to make it famous and admittedly a good writing style about it. Law of Attraction (LoA) is just your average self-improvement style book if that. It is a crash training of 'how-not-to-write-a-self-improvement-book'. I am sorry if you are disappointed after reading this book. If you haven't, please do not. It is just not worth the effort, let alone the price. Do yourself a favor, stay away from this Secret.
