Packed with useful exercises, checklists, personal stories, and a wealth of resources, Cheryl Richardson's program will show you how to step back, regain control, and make conscious decisions about the future you'd like to create. Take time for your life—and begin living a life that you love.
If you watch Oprah, you may have caught Cheryl and her list making crazy skills. This journey helps you organize your life by organizing your processes. Your mental and day to day processes. The problem is, many men and women go through life and leave theirselves on the list. They spend all their time on their kids, on their spouse, work, or otherwise and don't have anything left for themselves. This shows you that by working on making yourself a better person, you can fulfill all those obligations much easier. I really admire not only the honesty, but the genteel way this book was laid out without being rude or sending listeners on a guilt trip.
Cheryl Richardson gives advice to those of us who aren't very happy with our lifestyles. Maybe we aren't getting what we want to get done, becoming lazy, feeling tired, overworked, or stressed, or maybe just feeling upset and unsteady. This book helps you organize your life so that it is more stress free and you can get more accomplished.
Richardson walks you through step by step to look at all the aspects of your life that may need to be managed. The key in following her directions is taking your time and being patient. Don't feel that you need to do all of the tasks in one day or even one week. Take your time and be proud of what you've done thus far. Also, this isn't about perfecting your life, only improving it.
Richardson will give you the motivation you need to get up and get things done is a way comfortable to you and your health. This isn't exercise, but you'll definitely feel a LOT better when you're through with this book.
