Truth vs. Falsehood: How to Tell the Difference by David R. Hawkins

As in the previous books, Dr. Hawkins presents us with a truly great work that stands alone in a class by itself. Best described as "the first encyclopedia of truth in man's history," this comprehensive exploration into the nature of truth itself and how it is reflected in past and present civilizations, affords a major advance to the understanding of life in its multiple expressions since its first appearance on earth.
By using his now-famous calibrated Scale of Consciousness, the author and research teams explore the complexities of human civilization and its current crisis of verifiable truth in a society whose fabric is being torn by strife and contention. To our relief, a means of discerning truth from fallacy has been discovered that is of ultimate, practical benefit.
For the first time, the unseen roots of war are exposed as residing within consciousness itself, long before they emerge as the visible preludes to conflict.
From consciousness research, the author has developed a brilliant science of international relations that presents startling discoveries, without which mankind has actually been at war 93 percent of the time throughout the history of civilization.

I am so glad I found this book on this site, and I'm happy to review it. I'm a very gullible guy. I believe people because I expect them to believe me and to be honest with me. Therefore I can be "had" very easily. This book is nice because it helps you distinguish when people may be telling lies. I REALLY like watching debates with the presidential candidates now because I'm looking for who's telling lies! But in my personal life, you can pick up on deception all around you with this book and by reading the signs all around us. These case studies surprise me with how alike humans are and how we all think of things. It definitely lends credence to the fact that you CAN tell the truth from the lies if you just take the time to look.
