Hawkins uses both power and force to make this book an immensely delightful read. The power of his words and the sheer factual force of them makes you realize that there is a lot of hidden potential in you which you can use to your advantage. In a no-holds-bar book , Hawkins, a specialist in his area, tells you how to use emotions, feelings and experiences do your own purpose. The singals can be interpreted to judge a statement for fallacy and he teaches them all. With his extraordinary experience in correcting behavior, and healing doctor; Hawkins takes it upon himself to make you aware of the latest in every field of science without either sounding too technical or condescending. A great book for anyone who is interested in knowing more about how mind works. A intriguing book which will leave you asking for more. Kinesiology is the new buzz word :-)

The renowned psychiatrist David R Hawkins MD PhD introduces you to the concept of kinesiology and the interaction of body mind and spirit and its impact on the way we live our lives. This is an eye opening book into the world of difference of using force or power. An intriguing title, at first you may thing they are the same thing but Dr Dawkins shows you obviously they are not.

Power vs. Force gives and outline of the tools of power and Force, their application in various situations and how we ca apply them in our everyday life

This is a good book for an introduction into Kinesiology and learning how violence makes you react. It also tells you violence is not the weapon of a strong person and continuous violence can actually make you weak. Doing the test is a real eye opener. Especially recommended for parents and those who work with children.

How consciousness can be calibrated?

This book offers a quite sensational technique (kinesiology) for establishing the level of truth surrounding just about anything one would care to think about. This assumes the question is asked in the correct way, the level of interaction with one's assistant is kept to a minimum, and that one’s own 'calibration' level is sufficiently high enough to access the vast cosmic database that we are all purported to be connected to. Dr Hawkins has the capacity to make even the introduction and Appendices completely fascinating! A rare being, where a scientific mind is connected to a spiritually enlightened heart, Dr Hawkins reports on over 20 years of muscle-testing on the theme of human consciousness. In this method, where subjects either go weak or strong, the human body itself proves to be the amazingly sensitive and responsive tool needed to construct a complete map of every level of human consciousness. Dr Hawkins presents his findings in such easily understood forms as the Map of Consciousness, where he relates God view, Life-View and Emotions with levels of awareness on an ascending scale from Shame (20) to Enlightenment (1000). He also calibrates the Truth rating of each chapter of the book. For anyone wishing to understand more about themselves and people in general this book is a fascinating read.
