Gratitude is important for life.Whenever i am asked the easiest way to use The secret, the answer is always the same gratitude. The Secret explains that the law of attraction is the most powerful law in Universe. So i was thinking how to implement this in my daily life.At that time only i heard about this gratitude book. From that day onwards i use to feel grateful for each and every thing i have now.I say thank you for each and every thing that happens in my daily life. Each and every day i write my grateful thing in this gratitude book.I use to write my intentions also.I believe that my intentions will be attracted to me by gratitude.i always have this book with me.

This book is pretty much nothing more than an overpriced notebook. What a waste of money. I'd rather just go to the dollar store and buy a spiral bound notebook and draw pretty pictures on the cover. While the author does make some beautiful statements, I could probably read them and put the book back on the shelf. It's worth a perusal, but definitely not a purchase. Save the money for gas and buy a regular journal!

This is NOT really a book. More of a reflection journal that costs $15. That said, its a great way to focus in on gratitude in your life. How to be happy with what you have, how to be a good steward and all the rest of it. There is some writing in it to "guide" you but its mainly for reflection. For all the people who say $15 is too much (and it is) I think its actually good it costs $15. When people buy things for $5 or so, they tend to not treat them as important as they would something that costs more. If its more of an investment you feel more obliged to keep with it. So did it make me more gratified? Did I feel better? Yes, but would that have happened if I was more meditative in my personal life? Yes. I give it 3 stars, not for everyone for sure.

I cannot believe I fell for it. Time and again I have been duped by authors in their ‘second-coming’ if you will. Every time I fall for it and think – Never again. I did it again with ‘The Secret Gratitude Book’. I have read the Secret and in fact reading it second time over now. I got that one for cheap and hence had no qualms about shelling out $15 for this book(?). I guess it does make a nice paper weight but that is all to it. I will feel very disturbed writing in this $15 notepad for that is all this is. Looks like Rhonda tried to cash in on the success of The Secret and make more money on this one. I am very disappointed. This makes me wonder if Rhonda herself belived in positive thinking or was she thinking ‘I may never get another famous book so might as well earn some money’. Come now Rhonda! Positive thinking- Remember?

I received this journal as a gift and before even opening the book itself, I fell in love with the cover. It reminded me of an old antique book. With the gold writing and “Thank You” etched into the cover in many different languages gave it a timeless look. The inside proved to be almost as impressive as the outside. The journal begins with an introduction, followed by how to use it and tips. The introduction basically reviews the Secret if you aren’t familiar with it.

The how to section tells how to write what you’re grateful for and the things coming into your life through the Law of Attraction in which you are grateful for.

As for the journal portion, there is a page dedicated to writing out what you currently have that you are thankful for and the other page is for writing what is coming into your life that you’re grateful for. On each page, there is an inspirational quote involving LOA. There are plentiful lines per page to write on and a nice red ribbon marker to keep your place.

I wasn’t disappointed in this book, however, for much less, you could do the same in a plain journal. I’m giving it 3 stars for that reason alone. It’s a bit pricey, all because it involves The Secret.

Maybe it’s the onset of old age. Maybe it’s that I am from another generation. I don’t know, but to me, there is something inherently disturbing about using the concept of gratitude for gain. This book was in a box of books my sister gave me.
Why can’t this book be an inspiration for readers to just simply count their blessings without some sort of payoff? I am thankful every day that I have what I do. I have serious health issues, serious financial problems, but I have what I think are blessings beyond wealth in my relationships with my husband, family, friends, and God. The gratitude I feel is its own reward.
The Secret Gratitude Book is touted as “a journal to record your journey of transformation towards abundance.” Supposedly, it is a followup to the first book, which I did not read, which talks about the so-called “Universal Law of Attraction. What bunk.
I am giving it two stars because Rhonda Byrne does express some beautiful thoughts and if it makes people happy, I suppose it is worth something. I just think that in the end, anyone is going to be disappointed in the return she tells them they can expect.
