Pamela Peeke's great attitude shines through her writing in an encouraging, inspirational way. You won't be able to put Fit to Live down until you're done. Peeke goes past the ordinary and approaches weight loss from every angle, looking at all possible causes in daily life, explain her exercises, and so on.

Peeke knows what she's talking about. She demonstrates complete understanding of her work and her readers. She encourages rather than overwhelms. She also focuses on self improvement instead of setting impossible goals that aren't for everyone. She understands that not everyone is size 2 and not everyone will get supermodel bodies. She looks at being the best YOU can be, or at least better.

Peeke's writing style is enjoyable. Don't miss out.

The main theme inside this new book is the way our 'toxic' lifestyles can make us fat and how we can make some changes in order to be fit and healthy. She starts out by saying how she's there to save your life if you let her. She poses the question , "If you had to suddenly leave your comfort zone and run for your life, hoist your body out of a broken elevator, run after a child headed toward a busy street, or grab a tree limb to stop from falling, could you do it? Are you Fit to Live?" Your answer will either shock you to your core or make you proud. Not many might be able to answer yes. She talks about toxic belly fat .She suggests small changes in lifestyle that give you drastic results in the long run. This book is a straight-forward, easy to read guide to helping yourself create a well-balanced life. It's about transformation and progress, not perfection. This book is almost as good as a personal session with Dr. Peeke in the flesh. She is really as funny, honest, encouraging, visionary, and dedicated to making people's lives happier and healthier in print as she is in person. Her common sense and compassion are in every page. Dr. Peeke says that when you're ready for change, real transforming change, you need to own the process.
