I gave this book to my daughter for her 16th birthday. She really loved it. She was amazed by all of the wonderful stories in the book. She could really relate to a lot of them. She said that it is a very inspirational book. I read many of the stories along with her and couldn't agree more.

My mother gave me this book when I was in high school and I took it on every band trip I went on. At the time I was going through typical high school situations. Reading this book helped me because it allowed me to see how other people dealt with similar situations. I was able to understand proper and improper ways to deal with situations. Some of the stories in the book were more helpful than others because of the situations they covered. For example, relationship stories were extremely helpful since my parents did not accept my partner. I thought I was alone but after reading an article or two I realized I wasn't the only one out there with this problem. I would recommend this book to any teenager because it touches a lot of different topics that are geared for teenage kids. One real reason I like this book is because each story had a title and a section in the context so you can pick and choose which articles you would like to read.

I think everyone can agree that the teen years are trying, at best. I moved around a lot and used to get picked on a lot. My escape was always in my studies and in books. This was one that I always found to be inspiring. It always made me think of how I was treating others and reminded me that I was not the only one out there having a tough time. It gave me hope that everything would get better and that there were still good people out there.

I think this book can open the heart of any teenager, even just a little bit. It makes them see things from a different angle and I think that's a phenomenal learning tool for teenagers, as they seem to be extremely stubborn and seemingly omniscient in that time period.

I'd recommend this to any teenager, but especially to those who were having a hard time with the tough years, as a promise that it WILL get better!

I got this book from my friends big sister back in Jr. High. Every night in the summer of 1999, I would read this book for a few hours and I would never put the book down. I would read story after story and it reassured me that the things I was going through was completley normal.

I consider this book a great book for a young preteen or teenager for understanding teenage years. I hope this book is still around by the time my kids are old enough. I'm sure by then, Chicken Soup for the Soul will come out with another teenager book. I'm glad there is books by Chicken Soup because without these books, some of us would be completely lost.

I was pretty young when the "Chicken Soup" series of books first came out in stores and started to become popular - perhaps an early teenager, or even preteen. I had actually read the original book, "Chicken Soup for the Soul," first before the book intended for teenagers came out. Even though I was much younger than needed for the original, I still found it helpful - and especially even moreso this book, as so many aspects of it applied to my life and my worries at the time.

I think that every teenager goes through those years wondering at least at some point if they're abnormal, or weird, or the only one experiencing the problems they're going through. This book is very kind and helps the reader in knowing that you definitely aren't alone in your struggles, and you're certainly not the first one to be feeling this way. As a teenager this was very comforting and reassuring to know!

I found this book so helpful that I lent it to my friend back then whose parents were going through a divorce. Teenagers certainly aren't the best at words (is anyone?) but my friend thanked me so many times for lending her the book. She borrowed it a number of times, and I bought her her own copy as a gift. She even ended up lending her copy to a number of our other friends, back then.

Needless to say this proves this is a helpful and well written book that many teenagers will find helpful, no matter what they are going through in life.

As a fan of the Chick Soup series of books, i was excited to see this title as my oldest kids hit their teen years. Both of my teenage daughters have pretty much worn out their copies, referring to it often as the issues of their lives, many of them addressed in this book, rear their sometimes ugly heads. We have very little control over the issues that our teens are going to face. What we can do is arm them with as many tools as we can to help them manage and handle those issues, and I feel this book is one of those tools. We also like that it was written with so much input from actual teens. Almost any challenge is easier to face when you know that you are not alone and are not the only one who has been through what you are going through. Every teen should have a copy of this book!

I grew up watching my older sister reading these chicken soup books, and i thought she was crazy. I thought that the books were really written about chicken soup. One day though at work, a chicken soup for the teenage soul was lying on the counter. I was bored so I picked it up and started reading. After the first real life story, I was in tears. It was such a beautiful story about a girl who was adopted. I could not wait to read the rest of the book, i just knew that all of the other stories had to be just as good, if not better than the one I had just read. So as the day went on I ended up reading the entire book. All of the stories either made me cry, laugh, appreciate life, love, happiness or friendship. It was a great book that inspired me to appreciate all that I have in my life, and to never take it for granted.

I'm a big lover of the Chicken Soup books, I've read a whole bunch of them. My mom gave me this when I was a teenager, and it helped me through some real rough spots. I always kept the spots that helped me out dog-eared so I could re-read them. And sometimes the happy stories were great to improve a good day. I still read it now, and I'm 25!

No one likes to be told what to do. And Chicken Soup doesn't tell you what to do either. This was the first Chicken Soup book that I read, and I loved it! Because it wasn't exactly full of instructions, rather, it was full of experience. And what better way to learn than from other people's lives. Every story or poem has a different meaning for everyone. And by seeing what other people are going through, it's easier to make our own decisions. It is a complete feel-good book, and I recommend it to every teenager. Because the teen years are a special phase, one that's perturbed and foggy. It is filled with multiple emotions as we step into adulthood. This book really made a difference in my teen years, hope it helps you too.

I'm a huge fan of the "Chicken Soup for the Soul" series, so, being just a few years past my teenage years, I bought it for my niece. She liked it so much, she insisted that I read it. I did read it and understood why she was such a fan. As usual, the stories were all so uplifting and I really liked how they found stories so specifically aimed at teenagers and struggles and challenges they face. My niece really couldn't be happier with book and has actually recommended to many of her friends, as well as her mother. HIGHLY recommended!
