I bought this book at a used book store for my mother. We both read it and it is just wondeful. The stories are so heartwarming. We literally laughed and cried while we were reading this book. I was so touched by all of the stories. It is a book to pass along to all of the women in your life.

All chicken soup books really are never failing, always helping, strengthening, and rekindling books. They can be of help for anyone and everyone. Old, young, girl, boy, wealthy, poor, happy, depressed, in love, out of luck and so on. It does not matter who you are, what your life story is or how you were brought up. All humans have emotions, and all of us could benefit from reading these real life events about life. Every story arises a different emotion brought on due to different events in our lives. The stories teach us morales, results, truths, and solutions to these every day events that may be sad or happy. I recommend these books to everyone, children, pre-teens, adults, elderly, every race imaginable, people in every stage of life, people who are ill, who think that nothing better can come of their lives. But Chicken soup revitalizes the spirit that keeps us going.

I have read almost every Chicken Soup for the Soul book that is out there. I think that this is my absolute favorite! It's as touching and tear jerking and poignant as the rest of them...times 20! In my opinion, there is no bond that is as priceless as the one between a mother and her child. The stories inscribed between these covers are PERFECT representations of that.

This is a book that can touch the soul of even the most hard people and will forever be a wonderful Mother's day present. I have many of the Chicken Soup books and I treasure all of them. This one was given to me by my mother for Mother's Day. The stories are heartwarming and make me realize how important my mother is in my life, even though I don't get to see her very often. Some of the stories make me shed a tear or two so I try to read this when no one is watching. If you read this, be sure to keep your box of tissues handy!

The great thing about this book is it can be the perfect gift for a daughter, mother or grandmother. Any woman would appreciate this.
