Louise Hay has gathered the insights and collected wisdom of some of the most wonderful teachers and writers she knows, including Dr. Wayne W. Dyer, Dr. Joan Borysenko, Dan Millman, Harold Bloomfield, Dr. Bernie Siegel, and Shakti Gawain, who share with Louise and her readers their understanding of the practice of gratitude.
Thank goodness for this book. Thank you Louise. Thanks for the Heal your Life bible and thanks for letting me understand 'the power of thanking' from every perspective possible.
Thank you for having so many friends who write for you. Thank you for the differences in their backgrounds and professions... as that makes me understand how gratitude works, whoever you are. Thank you.
My review filled with gratitude is no exaggeration. This is it. You can make gratitude a way of life that can change everything else. This book, with short passages from various accomplished people, will have you know the how, why, when and whatever else you need to know on this subject. Thanks for reading.
Sometimes it's hard to feel we have things to be grateful for. I know I can focus on what wrong rather than on all the enormous blessings I have.
This book is, in part, a collection of writings from some of the most influential thinkers, teachers and authors today. The short chapters are easy to read and very enjoyable.
The message I found helpful is that we can be grateful for challenges as well as overtly "good" experiences. In hindsight, I can say I've been grateful for all experiences, good and bad. And the bad wouldn't have been so bad had I stopped for a moment to feel just a bit of gratitude ... and the good would have been even better.
