I attended a seminar where Zig Ziglar was a keynote speaker years ago - in the 80s, I believe. Ziglar's southern charm, emphasis on specific goals and love of family won me over. I purchased his book, See You at the Top, that evening. I've read it a number of times, and listened to the audiotape as well (borrowed from the library) because the information is basic and uplifting. It is a good reminder and it works. I like being inspired by a man who genuinely embraces the qualities of honesty and integrity and I can respect his religious views even if they aren't quite my own. If you appreciate timeless wisdom, down-home humor and an old-fashioned concern for fellow man, you'll enjoy Ziglar's message. This book is a classic that has stood the test of time. Add it to your library and read it when you need a boost.

and show you the way to sucsess.I really like this book and it is different than other self-improvement books because there are some real-life stories but the book mostly contains of strategies which are used by the author himself and they really make sense.I like reading self-improvement books very much and this book is one of my favorites.Zig ziglar shows you step by step the way which leads to the top.

It teaches you to think & then react, because if you need something u got to play harder but in a polite way rather than just sitting & hopeing that one day your dream come true, which happens only in fairy tales.
The book makes u feel, as u can win over a whole set of army without even a single weapon.

This is an older book with inspirational information and Christian based advice. Even though I feel this book is targeted for men, it has basic, easy to read advice that can be interpreted for anyone. See You At The Top has great examples to help compare and understand your situation and make it better. Very inspirational with humor as well. I’m not sure if all the information can be realistically utilized for everybody, but there is enough advice to make subtle changes in everyone’s life. The author gives his personal experiences through out the book that makes it seem like it is possible to use the helpful techniques offered. See You At The Top seems to also target the businessperson, but the information can be adjusted for everyday living. I think the best element about this book is how the author uses examples and metaphors to teach and help the reader relate and understand the essence of the book. The focus seems to be on raising self-confidence and image to succeed.

Zig says 'You can get whatever you want if you help enough other people get what they want'. Profound. I've noticed words change their meanings depending on the intellectual level you read them from. As a network marketer these words definitely hold the key to seeing you at the top. So I am indebted to getting this proven axiom from this book.

For a lay-reader Zig would make sense in his capacity to reflect insights on human behaviour. His vast and successful sales career has had him interact with people of all sorts and he brings that in for your learning.

It excites me to look at the world 10 years hence and ask the leaders of business, politics, spirituality and enterprise whether they had read this book somewhere along their journey. I suspect they will say they did. Maybe you should too... where would you like to be?

I have "See You at the Top" in print but also have had the opportunity to see Zig Ziggler live at a manager's conference a few years back. I have several of his CD in audio as well. Zig is very down to earth and easy to read. He inspires a logical way to motivate people. This happens to be one the many books I have read and been inspired by from Zig Ziggler. He has his quirky ways of relaying a message so that it sticks. I can remember exact phrases from his work. "I'm terrific!" For those that have read or heard that one, this is quite familiar. As stated in the title, "classic" approach to motivating others and self to succeed.

I would recommend this book to employees if in a leadership role. This definitely can help motivate others. Great when used in a group setting. Have an assignment to read and share a portion each week. Set goals around it. Also a great gift for college bound or recent grads who need a little motivation for that next level. As always, good read!
