A huge part of most sales careers involves cold calling. Often times this is viewed as something very difficult to do and I found it terrifying. More times than not, calling a potential customer who is a stranger is awkward and leads to wasted time. This book completely changed my mind about the whole process. It gives great advice on how to turn prospects into actual meetings and eventually sales. Schiffman explains in very easy to understand terms how to overcome barriers that are frequently present when trying to get leads. I have actually applied the advice in this book to my career and have found I have lessened insecurities, jumped out of my comfort zone, and have had much more success. It is a very quick and helpful read. I highly recommend it to any rising sales stars!
