I use this everything. When I say everyday, I litereally mean everyday. Multiple times a day. You can do so many things this with. I use it to cut butter into flour, mixing pasta dough together, cutting onion, making bread and cracker crumbs, mixing eggs and other vegetables to make an omelet. I can't go without using this for a meal. I love cooking and cook all the time and use this constantly. I always make things from scratch and this makes things so simple.
Then you realize you can switch out the top and it becomes vegetable cutting machine. If you put carrots in the regular way it will get stuck and won't cut. The top add-on make it an amazing shredder. It's perfect for sounds and salads.
This is a great food processor. I bought it for my wife and she uses it all the time.
I used to hate to cook at home. My mom suggested I get a food processor during a visit when she saw me chopping and shredding everything for dinner by hand. I took her advice and have just about worn this machine out! I use it to shred cheese and vegetables for recipes; I use it to chop veggies; I use it to make batters and doughs, etc. This is a great machine for any person trying to live more healthy and increase their at home meals verses eating out. With this machine, I can make things ahead of time and in large batches for freezing and eating later. I would recommend this processor to any lazy cook. It has taken so much of the work out of cooking and saved me time and money (from not eating out so much). Plus, because I am more likely to eat at home, I am more likely to eat healthy. Great machine! Will say that I have had it about 3 years and it is just now starting to have issues. I feel its worth the money.
