This is a great CD for anyone who loves nature sound disks and has insomnia. I use this CD, and others like it, to help soothe me to sleep on particularly bad nights. I have tried to use this for meditation, but its almost too relaxing. I actually fell asleep listening to it once! That is why I switched to using it at bedtime. My partner also loves it. The insect sounds are really nice. Reminds me of being at my grandmother's house in the mountains of WV. I would recommend this CD to anyone who loves country night sounds and wants to relax or sleep easily. I would not recommend it really for meditation, even though that is what the CD genre is really for, because it put me to sleep; however, it may work for you. Please note that there is zero music on this CD. It is strictly recordings of sunset sounds in nature.
