I normally do not like meditation CDs that combine nature sounds with music, but this CD actually is not too bad. I was able to relax with it, but I was not able to meditate to it (but that is just me). The sounds of the babbling river water with quiet guitar and flute sounds is actually quite enjoyable. This CD focuses on the nature sounds too, with the music sort of in the background instead of covering up the nature sounds like other CDs of this genre tend to do, so that is refreshing. I also think that is the reason I was able to enjoy this CD as opposed to other nature/music combo CDs that I have hated. I would recommend this CD to anyone who enjoys new age music and nature sounds. Its not really a good CD to meditate to in my opinion, but its great to light a few candles to and relax with.
