I love to take baths and in the winter, my skin tends to get dry and itchy. I tried Matsada Bath Salts after my sister recommended it. What a nice treat for my dry, itchy skin! Once I got in the tub, my skin felt immediately soothed and as an unexpected bonus, my achey muscles also were relaxed and soothed. I have to tell anyone who loves to take baths and their skin needs a little TLC, try the Matsada Bath Salts, you will love it!
I have always used Dead Sea Salt in my house for medicinal purposes. I prefer using natural products over conventional medicine and Dead Sea Salts has numerous functions in my house. I use it in a warm bath when my children have skin irritations or rashes. It soothes, but as well, salt has antiseptic properties so germs and everything are killed when used as well. I have cured many of my son’s diaper rashes with a warm Dead Sea Salt soak.
In addition, I have found food grade Dead Sea Salt and use it to gargle with when I feel a cold or sore throat coming on. I have warded off numerous colds by gargling at the first tickling of my throat.
I'd give it five stars, but for the price. What can I say, I'm cheap. That being said though, this is an awesome product. As someone who suffers from several health problems, two of which are fibromyalgia and eczema, this is a great product. It dissolves quickly, which is good because I don't always have a ton of time. It works really well though, keeping my dry skin in check so it no longer cracks and bleeds, and it helps relax me so I sleep better, and longer, most nights.
I have been using Dead Sea salts in my baths for years. The last time I purchased them, I found them on clearance (they normally cost about twice that much). They have all the benefits of Epsom Salts but also added minerals and benefits of being from the Dead Sea. Taking a hot bath laced with these salts will help you to loosen/relax tight/sore muscles, it softens your skin and nails for easy exfoliation/trimming, helps those with eczema and psoriasis (I have eczema), and dissolves in bath water quicker than Epsom salts. I would recommend these salts to anyone at all. I will tell you that they are more expensive than Epsom salts, as they are considered a specialty/beauty product (i.e. Epsom salts for rich people). I personally like them better than Epsom salts as they tend to be slightly scented like the sea and also finer in size.
