First off,I have to say that I don't really have bad gas, lol. Although, I'll be in situations like if I'm really nervous or out on a date and my stomach will just start to hurt for the build of gas. I think it's a mix between my stomach and the food I eat. Especially when I eat cheese or dairy products. I used to be fine with it, but all of a sudden whenever I eat something with diary in it like cheese or cream, it'll freak out. Although, I can eat ice cream just fine. Anyway, I've seen a bunch of different ones out there, but this one really works the best. This is weird to talk about, lol. I can say that eating beans doesn't do anything for me, so may they should call it chees-o, lol.

OK, I stole my title from the commercial. But it's true! After having my gall bladder removed, I noticed that some foods that never gave me gas problems before, certainly do now. Mainly stuff that your gall bladder processes anyways, such as greasy and fatty foods. Beano is great, it helps keep the gas in check before it starts, so I can still eat the foods I enjoy (I'm terribly unhealthy when it comes to eating) but not clear a room afterward!

After having a gastric bypass, I've had to get used to eating a variety of foods that cause, uh, a little extra gas. Since I eat a lot of high-fiber foods, and also foods with sugar alcohol (if you ever want to clear a room, eat a bunch of sugar free cookies!), gas--and the pains that accompany it--is a seriously annoying issue that I never even realized I would have to deal with post-op. And then someone told me to try this stuff.
I bought this version of Beano because it meant I didn't have to swallow a pill (I no longer "absorb" pills the right way anymore, so I prefer chewables and liquids). It does make that first bite taste a little spunky, but it's worth it after the meal when I know that I won't be heading towards the restroom to avoid some awkward situations! Granted, this stuff sometimes doesn't work completely, but for the majority, I notice that it helps a lot.

My dad actually suggested this food additive/supplement to me. He has battled gas for years due to a high fiber/vegetable diet. When I became a vegetarian, I was having the same issues. He has used Beano for years with much success, so I decided to try it. I love it. It really works and keeps you from getting gassy. I do not use it with every meal, but I use it for meals where I know I have a history of having bad gas issues surrounding that particular food. This is a liquid and you actually put the Beano into your first bite of food. Its easy to use, does not really affect the taste of your food other than that first bite (its sweet), and lasts a long time. I would recommend this to anyone who battles a lot of stomach gas due to certain foods. It works great and its all natural--no chemicals just enzymes.
