“One of the most admired men in the world of seduction” (The New York Times) teaches average guys how to approach, attract and begin intimate relationships with beautiful women
For every man who always wondered why some guys have all the luck, Mystery, considered by many to be the world’s greatest pickup artist, finally reveals his secrets for finding and forming relationships with some of the world’s most beautiful women. Mystery gained mainstream attention for his role in Neil Strauss’s New York Times bestselling exposé, The Game. Now he has written the definitive handbook on the art of the pickup.
He developed his unique method over years of observing social dynamics and interacting with women in clubs to learn how to overcome the guard shield that many women use to deflect come-ons from "average frustrated chumps."
Mystery's book is probably the most famous book ever written about seduction. It is also very good, and it teaches you technique you can use in order to pull the hottie into your bed. Unfortunately, social dynamics cannot be simplified into simple memorized texts and behaviours, and this book is not enough. Shy guys that lack self-confidence will hardly find this book helpful - as their delivery of Mystery's material will be weak. For the guys that are currently OK with the ladies but want to improve, this book is for you.
In conclusion, I will recommend this book, though for beginners I would rather recommend Shark's Attract & Date CDs. They are much more powerful.
Wow, THE MYSTERY METHOD is just full of rampant misogyny. Not because the ideas it’s espousing are false, but because it’s aiming them at women only. In trying to teach men how to “get beautiful women into bed”, THE MYSTERY METHOD is ignoring that all human beings are susceptible to these methods.
This book could be about anything. Literally. The concepts “Mystery” and “Lovedrop” (no, that’s really what they call themselves) want you to apply are simple: be assertive and be persuasive. Then women will fall at your feet!
Well, tell me, if you’re assertive and persuasive, what won’t fall at your feet? After all, those are the basic tenets of marketing. Anything that needs to be marketed, be it a product, a business, or yourself benefits from these two things.
I admit, though, I did love the bullet points and graphs and charts that Mystery used. For all its deplorable sexism, I would recommend this book to anyone who needs to learn how to market themselves. It’s straightforward about that, if you can get passed the dating aspect.
