The author of the runaway New York Times bestseller How to Marry the Man of YOur choice reveals how a wife can detect a cheating spouse and provides the strategies she will need to fight for her man and her marriage.
It's a sad marriage indeed when a wife not only has to create ways to keep her husband from cheating, but she feels compelled to publish a book about it.
Margaret Kent first appeared on Oprah in 1990 to promote this pathetic substitute for counseling, and as a result, sold quite a few copies. Her original readers were undoubtedly desperate wives in need of suggestions to keep their husbands faithful.
After reading through all her suggestions, it can only be surmised that this author had an extremely unfaithful husband. This poses the question, is a marriage worth saving if a spouse is determined to cheat? One has to wonder why it never occurred to her that in a successful marriage, the wife shouldn't have to use clever phrases like, "You're not as pretty as his other girlfriends" to keep a woman from going after her husband. A faithful spouse has 'keep off' written all over them, making this book a diverting, but ultimately sad read.
