I have to admit, I rolled my eyes the day my Grandmother told me about this site. I've always had the worst luck, when it comes to any kind of gardening. This site has changed my view of gardening altogether. Not only do I know how to plant a flower, but I can take pride in the fact that I now have a green thumb and can actually keep it alive. It's very informal, and it tells you, step-by-step, how to grow the prettiest flowers you've ever seen. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in gardening or someone that enjoys gardening. This is a great site.
One of the things that I love about this website, is that it's got some specific focus on indoor gardening. There's some really great advice, and the blog is top notch. I really enjoy that they have things for sale (sometimes I like to buy places I frequent!) and that they have practical solutions to try before you have to go out and buy new products, or replace broken ones.
I have flower/plant gardened all of my life. My dad raised me to love the dirt, and all of my homes had flower beds galore. Since leaving home to start my own family, gardening has always been a part of my life. I plan a new flower garden or water garden every spring for my yard. When I found this website, I knew I had hit paydirt. Its a great site and is just chock full of useful gardening sources and tidbits. They focus on outdoor, indoor, and landscape gardening. They offer seeds for sale and many other products. They offer a free blog for gardeners and have many informative articles and topic links throughout the site. They even cover tool maintenance and how to build things for your garden. It is a cool site with so much to offer that I am still discovering facets of it. I would recommend this to the novice gardener and the experienced gardener a like. There is always more to learn and more to try in your yard!
