Reviews of: Everything you always wanted to know about sex*
This is a practical guide to every adult and I honestly recommend that each couple should have a copy of this book at home. It is quite unfortunate that people often lack knowledge in sex. After all sex is the ultimate pleasure one can experience in his/her life. Sex is what drives the whole world alive.
This book throws light on many unknown secrets of sex. This book has information on clitoris and how to enhance the pleasure in woman stimulating it. This book is as informative as the great Indian book “Kama sutra”.
People who are not aware of impotence and frigidity would learn a lot from this book. Similarly, the reader can learn a lot about sexually transmitted diseases, menopause and hormonal changes in human body. It also covers the subjects like infidelity, plastic surgery and birth control.
Above all the author provides you vital tips to enjoy satisfying sex even at old ages when you have physical constraints. What else would one need at old ages if he/she can enjoy sex with satisfaction?
One of my friends presented me this terrible book as a marriage gift. I found this book as a complete practical guide on sex. In my opinion, every couple should go through this book at least once. This book covers almost all the subjects such as sexual intercourse, masturbation, impotence, frigidity, sexually transmitted diseases, and menopause.
Sex plays a vital role in every one’s life. I often come across people who lack knowledge in sex experience problems in their married life. Remember the simple techniques discussed in this book can enhance your sexual pleasures considerably.
Another important feature I liked in that book is September sex. It is true that many people are not able to perform well in sex when they age. You can enjoy sex to the fullest even at old age if you follow the simple techniques given in this book. I recommend this book to any couple who wants to enjoy sex life fully.
This book is truly amazing. I have been thinking I have a complete knowledge about sex. But when I started to read this great book, I understood I was very wrong. Dr.Reuben gives a lot of information that many of us don't know. It really helped me to gain vast knowledge on sex. It can help both men and women to enjoy sex thoroughly exploring new techniques.
The author provides tips to enhance your enjoyment in sex. He tells you how you can perform effectively in sex using different postures. I have read Kama Sutra in which Vathsayana suggests different poseurs for specific purposes. Similarly, Dr, Reuben also helps the readers to improve their sexual performance. He covers other subjects such gay relationships, plastic surgery to enjoy sex with more satisfaction.
I personally recommend this book for those who are not content with their sexual life. It will definitely bring remarkable changes in their lives .They will explore new heights in sex and derive maximum pleasure. Moreover, they will be able to satisfy their partners much more than before that in turn would build their relationship stronger. What else would one want for?
My friends gave away this book to me, in what the thought it was a joke, but what they don´t know is how useful this book has been to me. I could not be considered an expert on sex, but believe me that I know enough to think that it would be completely useless, I get chocked when I discover how much I can know...just reading.
How can you go wrong with a book that's been best selling for all around the world for a long time? When I started reading this book, I realized there is so much about sex that I did not know about. Of course, I didn't think of myself as an expert before, but now I feel more confident. The pictures are very professional and real. It helps that the pictures are there to explain different positions and help you understand the anatomy of sex. My review sounds like it's going to be boring, but it's actually pretty fascinating. I highly recommend this book.
While it might not truly contain *everything* you always wanted to know about sex, this book certainly comes closer than just about any other similar offering on the market. Without ever being sensationalistic, Reuben manages to give a thorough, well researched question and answer guide to most things sexual, from the vanilla to what much of society today might claim is taboo. The frank way in which he answers questions, and the subtle humour that infuses the book does much to keep the tone at a level where the book can be recommended to a wide variety of readers- gay, straight, from the teens to seniority, single, coupled, celibate, promiscuous and everywhere in between all of those extremes. A good guide to have around the house when you want a quick answer and google isn't handy (or likely to provide 'academic' explanations).
One caveat, though, which another reviewer already mentioned: do make sure you're getting the most up to date version of this book. A lot has changed since the sixties, and decades old information, while amusing, might not be the most reliable.
One of the most important things you need to know, is to find the most up to date edition of this book. Because information changes all the time, out of date information can be misleading. That said, this is an amazingly informative book, with a ton of information. There's information on a wide array of subjects. Some information is only touched on, so if you're looking for in depth on one topic, keep researching. But if your looking for a generous overview on many topics, this is the book for you!
This book has been around since 1969, when it first came out and single-handedly generated a tremendous and highly controversial sensation. Widely praised by intelligent and open-minded people and harshly condemned by those outraged at its boldness and no-nonsense clarity, it is a book that is still being referred to by readers seeking advice and information on that most fascinating of all subjects, human sexuality. Written in a question and answer format, everything concerning sex, (and believe me when I say everything,) is thoroughly discussed and explained. Subjects such as abortion, venerial disease, impotence, prostitution, frigidity, the penis, the clitoris, fantasies, perversions, intercourse, are all scientifically and rationally discussed, leaving nothing to the imagination, all with the aim of educating the reader and dispelling the myths and erroneous beliefs about sex that have piled up like mud over the years because people wouldn't or couldn't get the facts straight. This book is one of the first fountains of light that created such a tremendous and long-lasting impact on sexual history, comparable in effect to the Masters & Johnson clinical investigations of human sexuality. As such, I highly recommend it as a first course in understanding why we are the sexual beings that we are, why we behave in such varied and colorful ways, and how best to understand others who might be a bit "different" in their own tastes and activities when it comes to that most powerful of all human drives, sex.
