Audio Dharma by Gil Fronsdal

This site is an archive of Dharma talks given by Gil Fronsdal and various guest speakers at the Insight Meditation Center since 2000. Each talk illuminates aspects of the Buddha's teachings. The purpose is the same that the Buddha had for his teachings, to guide us toward the end of suffering and the attainment of freedom.

audiodharma.org is an archive of talks that are given by teachers and guests at the Insight Meditation Center in Redwood City, California.

All of the talks are free, and can be listened to online, or by subscribing to their podcast.

The website provides an easy way to browse through speaker series, group by topic and by teacher.

I found these lectures particularly useful prior to a business trip to London that I was nervous about. The long flight was a source of great anxiety for me, and the lectures I downloaded onto my ipod from audiodharma kept me relaxed and calm during the flight.

Gil Fronsdal is one of the major teachers featured on this website. I have to say that I am not a fan of his lectures, as I find him too meandering; however, there are so many other lectures by other teachers that I visit this site regularly.

I particularly enjoy the lectures of Martine Batchelor. Not only are her talks humorous and practical, her voice, with a lilting french accent, is a pleasure to listen to.
