A designer and a writer, an athlete and an artist.
One of us wears pearls, the other wears dreadlocks.
We are rooted in our beliefs in the human spirit, the power of gratitude, and the definition of prosperity.
We know that authenticity is a force for social change - as mighty as solar power, and democracy, and first love. And we believe that being true to your self is all about living the right questions. That’s why so much of what we do – from The Daily Q&A to Style Statement – is infused with the spirit of inquiry.
We created www.carrieanddanielle.com for seekers and agents of change, for fashionistas and entrepreneurs - for deep thinkers who dig pop culture. Meditation, mascara, relationship struggles, spiritual triumphs, earning money – it all matters when you’re trying to live an undivided life.
This online experience is part magazine, part altar, part salon. This brings together our sweetest intentions: to create material that is beautiful in every way; to spark sincerity, self-determination, and connection in scores of people; and to broadcast this fact: that being true to yourself will fulfill your heart’s every desire.
When it comes to wellness and parenting I like to turn to Carrie and Danielle for inspiration. A definite favorite of mine, the site is a stellar guide to personal development covering a wide array of topics from beauty to wealth. It’s both liberating and inspiring to discover great new tips and advice of all aspects in life. With excellently written articles and reviews, Carrie and Danielle are absolutely two ladies I love visiting.
I started interning with C&D last month, and have to admit that at the start, I didn't think I'd have much in common with the article topics... however, I've come to appreciate that there are blog posts that'll suit almost everyone. I've been enjoying the environmental articles, particularly the recent one about carbon offsetting, which is something I had wanted to learn about. So far, so good!
I didn’t really think that I would find much of interest to me at Carrie and Danielle, but I am pleased to say that assumption was wrong. Although it is presented as ,yet another “live a wondrous life” type site, it has a distinct character of it’s own. Carrieanddanielle.com is a witty site, covering a wide variety of subject matter. Many of the blogs here, present the covered topics from interesting and unique points of view. From a 37 year old woman’s life discovery in a pre-school book, to an article on writing your own erotica you never know what you will find on this site. Carrie and Danielle the namesakes of the site, have many videos featuring the two of them bantering about various topics. I did not find these to be a high point for me, but a few were somewhat interesting. Unless the particular topic featured in a video is compelling to you, I would stick to the articles. They are more interesting.
