I am a small business Conversation Consultant and public speaker that uses the power of the internet to leverage your success. Productivity in Context is a web magazine focused on Productivity and tools for organizing. Make this your headquarters for improving your life and work through increased mindfulness, education, and workflow practices.
A friend recommended this ProductivityInContext to me a few weeks ago because I had mentioned I was having I was having trouble writing lately. When I first came across it I was a little hesitant because I thought this site would just cater to people trying to be more productive in the business world. But the advice on this site goes way beyond that. This site is useful for any person trying to be more productive in any field. ProductivityInContext is great because it gets into the psychology of being a productive person. Creating an environment or workspace that will help you be more productive and actually do better work. Looking at the tools you use to plan your time differently in order to be more efficient. The advice is very solid all around. Personally, I found the free e book "Time Management for Creative People" extremely helpful. I would recommend this site for anyone trying to make the most of their time.
Unfortunately this website is quite new and "fresh" to the idea of good design. I will let you decide for yourself. However the content is geared not as much to help people, but to get you on someone's list and have them sell things to you. Being an Internet marketer, there are several things to look for. This being a blog setup shows me that the site is set up to rank better in Yahoo than in Google, however the use of title tags doesn't help at all. There is no ranking for "productivity" or "context". The terms are too diverse. As I tell all my clients, spend more time on making your product great, instead of spending your time on marketing a product that you KNOW isn't as good. Build value into the product and you can raise the prices. Its pretty simple.
