Almost ready to retire and have been planning for a long time. Here is my dilemma: decided on building my dream retirement house in Florida. Paid down almost 60% of the cost to build the home to avoid a large mortgage. Lo and behold the builder reneged on the deal...disappeared....

Any advice on how I can handle this thru the court system? I have no money left to hire a full-time lawyer
